Edward “Spike” O’Donnell was one of the more colorful characters in Chicago’s Prohibition Era. Spike O’Donnell along with some of his brothers made up the Southside O’Donnell gang.
Spike survived 10 assassination attempts, including the first use of a Tommy Gun in a gangland hit.
